Canadian Obesity Summit in Toronto. We published a
whopping 14 papers and one book chapter in 2015 and
have another 5 already in 2016. With a number of papers
submitted and in the pipeline, this puts 2016/2017 on
track to be another great publication year!
We also reached out into events beyond academia.
We were lucky enough to have some super Grade 4
students from Dundas Central Elementary School come
to our lab and see what we do to make science happen.
Thanks to our super cool graduate students and staff,
they got to tour MDCL, look at a DEXA scanner in Dr.
Atkinson's lab in Pediatrics, look down the microscope
at mutant worms with Dr. MacNeil, had a liquid nitrogen
demo and finally...had a pipette tip box filling contest.
Congratulations to Zane for being the fastest filler in the
west! Kids excited about science! That's what we love
